Romanticism i feel is inspired by the dark. I never heard anyone say that but i feel that is the way it is.
It is always the moonlit sky, the early dawn,candlelit tables that come to our mind when we think of a romantic setting.
Surprisingly we seek inner light in love but why do we look for it in the dark? What is there in the moon that inspires Romanticism . We all seek solace in these surroundings where there is lack of light , where the mountains are dimly lit and the clouds deprive the sunny day of its light.
I often wonder as to what is love or romance ? Is it an impulse stronger than sex or is it a part of our urge to have sex as an integral part of our living instinct?
Is romantic love bound to be doomed or does it have a sunnier side ? more than the darkness which is supposed to ignite it .
